FAQs
Thinking about working with me but have a question? You’re not the first. Here are some I often get asked.

How do I know if coaching is right for me or my team?
You’re right to question it. Sometimes coaching isn’t the right approach; it might need to be matched with training, or you might be trying to exit someone, or maybe the team doesn’t have capacity right now. If you’re uncertain, book a discovery call and I’ll help you decide.
What kinds of leaders and teams do you work best with?
I typically work with senior leaders and top teams, but the main criteria are their curiosity to try a different approach and their desire to get different results.
We’re already stretched. How much time will this take?
If there’s a major deadline taking up all the airspace, it might be worth pausing. Normally though, we need to start while it’s busy. Coaching will actually help create breathing space. 1:1 sessions are approximately one hour every two weeks, with experimentation, practice, and reflecting in between. Team sessions are half a day a month.
What happens if a leader resists the process?
I factor this in. Change is hard, and resistance is a normal part of the process. Actively resisting participation is another matter, but we will establish commitment at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Some leaders see results during the first session — a mindset shift, more clarity, a reallocation of work. Sustaining behaviour change is a longer-term project, but we get really clear about what success looks like at the start of the programme.
Can you work with a whole leadership team at once?
The leadership team sets the tone for the rest of the organisation, so the biggest results are often seen at this level. I recommend the team leader also joins my 1:1 Breakthrough Programme for maximum impact.
What’s different about your approach compared to other leadership coaches?
I invite more viewpoints into the room, even in 1:1 coaching. That might mean a leader sharing their Curve Plan with their manager for feedback, asking for ideas from team members, or role-playing the voice of the customer or employees in monthly sessions.
I also use a coaching platform that helps you stay motivated and makes the change visible.
What happens after the coaching ends?
Good coaching leaves a legacy. You’ll have stronger habits, clearer leadership language, and greater confidence. Many leaders find their results build over time, and choose to continue working with me.
